Three Card Poker is a casino game that is based on the classic poker game, but with a twist: the player competes against the dealer, not against other players. The game is played with a standard 52-card deck, which is shuffled before each round. The player and the dealer each receive three cards, and the player can decide to fold or play, based on their hand and the dealer’s visible card. If the player folds, they lose their ante bet. If the player plays, they have to place a bet that is equal to their ante bet.
The dealer then reveals their remaining two cards and compares their hand with the player’s hand. The dealer must have at least a queen high to qualify. If the dealer does not qualify, the player wins even money on their ante bet and pushes on their play bet. If the dealer qualifies and has a better hand than the player, the player loses both bets. If the dealer qualifies and has a worse hand than the player, the player wins even money on both bets.
The game also has two optional side bets: pair plus and six card bonus. The pair plus bet pays out if the player has a pair or better in their hand, regardless of the dealer’s hand.
