In this Game

Baccarat is typically played using 8 decks of playing cards each containing 52 cards that get shuffled after dealing a portion of the deck.

When you win a Banker bet, in this game you receive your winnings minus a 5% commission on the amount won.

There are five types of bets in this game;

  1. Player bet; You bet on the player’s hand having a higher value than the banker’s hand.
  2. Banker bet; You wager on the banker’s hand having a higher value, than the player’s hand.
  3. Player Pair bet; It’s a side bet predicting that the player’s first two cards will form a pair.
  4. Banker Pair bet; Another side bet guessing that the banker’s initial two cards will make up a pair.
  5. Tie bet; This is when you predict that both the Player and Banker hands will have an equal value and result in a tie. In Baccarat it means betting on both hands having values and ending in a tie.

Payout Guidelines

To determine your payout you should divide the odds. For instance, in a 2;1 scenario divide 2 by 1 which equals 2. multiply this result by your bet plus your original bet to calculate your total winnings. In the event that you wager on the Banker and they emerge victorious you will receive your payout minus a 5% commission on the winning amount. The commission represents a fee taken from the winning bet by the casino. If there is a tie, between hands and you haven’t placed a Tie or Pair bet your stake will be refunded to you.

Here are the combinations of hands and their corresponding payouts;

  • Player bet: 1:1
  • Banker bet: 1:1
  • Player Pair bet: 11:1
  • Banker Pair bet: 11:1
  • Tie bet: 8:1
