Caribbean Stud

Caribbean Stud is a casino game that is based on the classic poker game, but with a twist: the player competes against the dealer, not against other players. The game is played with a standard 52-card deck, which is shuffled before each round. The player and the dealer each receive five cards, but only one of the dealer’s cards is face up. The player can then decide to fold or raise, based on their hand and the dealer’s visible card. If the player folds, they lose their ante bet. If the player raises, they have to place a bet that is twice the amount of their ante bet.

The dealer then reveals their remaining four cards and compares their hand with the player’s hand. The dealer must have at least an ace and a king to qualify. If the dealer does not qualify, the player wins even money on their ante bet and pushes on their raise bet. If the dealer qualifies and has a better hand than the player, the player loses both bets. If the dealer qualifies and has a worse hand than the player, the player wins even money on their ante bet and a payout on their raise bet, according to the paytable.

The game also has a progressive jackpot feature, which allows the player to place an optional side bet of 1 coin before each round. The side bet is linked to a network of other Caribbean Stud games and contributes to a common pool of money. The player can win a part or all of the jackpot if they get a flush or better in their hand, regardless of the dealer’s hand.
