Multi-hand Vegas Downtown Blackjack Intro

We guess that if you love playing Blackjack, every now and then, you get into the situation of thinking: “I could have a better hand.” And with this Microgaming rendition of the favorite card gambling, you will always have a better hand. At least one will be better than the others. Literally.

Now, being serious, Multi-hand Vegas Downtown Blackjack is indeed entertaining and full of choices. You can play five hands simultaneously, and you always bet against the dealer. Five versus one – at least a hand of yours has to win, right? Well, it is not a promise, but the open chances are there.

Multi-hand Vegas Downtown Blackjack Information

This game uses two 52-card decks, which are reshuffled before every round. You can bet on up to five hands against the dealer. There is no obligation to activate all five hands; you can use one or two. The more hands you play, the bigger the chance to win. But it also means that the stakes get higher.

Well, you can play all hands with the lowest bet. The minimum is $1 for each combination. The limit is $1000 in a round regardless of how many hands you use.

The rules here are the same as the standard Blackjack. You need to beat the dealer’s hand without going over 21 points. If you get 21 with the two starting hands, it’s a blackjack and an instant win. It’s only possible when an Ace is combined with a 10-point card (King, Queen, Jack, 10).

However, the Ace counts as either 11 or 1, so you can use this when you add more cards. If you think you need more points in a respective hand, then push Hit. You can do that more than once as long as you are not overdrawn. Once you decide that you are fine with what you have or not will to risk being bust, then push Stand.

But there are more buttons you can use in the game:

  • Double. It’s available for every hand after the deal. This action doubles the stake and adds just one more card to the combination.
  • Split. You can use it when you have two cards of the same kind. It makes two hands out of one, and you can hit each. Splitting cards also means you double the stake of the initial hand since you have one more bet now.
  • Insurance. After the deal, you can see all your hands and one of the dealer’s cards. If it’s an Ace, then you have the opportunity to play the Insurance option. If the opposition has a Blackjack, you get back the bet from the hand or hands that have been insured.
