Getting Started – The Rules in a Nutshell

The game is played using six decks of cards that are shuffled together in a shoe. It adheres to the rules of baccarat, where players can bet on whether the Banker or Player position will have a total or if there will be a Tie, at the beginning of each round. Each card holds its face value with any hand exceeding 10 having ten deducted from the total. Additionally it follows the protocol for dealing a card – the Player position receives an extra card when their hand totals 0 to 5 and the Banker position may receive a third card based on both hands values. All cards are revealed face up, during gameplay and any necessary third cards are dealt automatically.
